Session Information
1. Free, initial consultation is to establish rapport between both parties & to discuss the areas in your life which maybe causing your distress.
We will notify you if this type of therapy (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) will be of benefit to you. If not, we may suggest other suitable options.
2. Schedule on a date & time when is best for you. It would be in your best interest to pick a date & time when you will not be disturbed.
3.Once your payment has been accepted by pay pal, you will be able to begin the session; the counsellor will take a note of both the start time and will inform you as we are approaching the end.
(Note: You can always go back to the emails to refresh your memory of the day’s session)
If you would like to arrange another session - please mention this to the counsellor at the end of your session.

4. How does http://www.peaceofminds.co.uk/ ensure my information is kept private?
All of your communications are confidential.That means, the counsellor does not talk clients to anyone. The only exception is if you are planning on harming yourself or someone else.
The counsellor has a password protected screen saver on desktop computer that activates after 5 minutes of not receiving a keystroke.
The counsellor works from home, so no one has visibility to see screen (such as co-workers) It's up to you whether or not you want a file kept open for you. If you do not, simply make the requestion and your information will be deleted & purged the same day.
How can I keep my information private?
All information is sent by attached Word or document not as e-mail text.
Do not fax or E-mail from work. Employers frequently monitor employee's e-mail & co-workers can easily read a fax intended for someone else.
Attach a Word or Word pad document instead of typing confidential text in an email.
Delete your e-mail from your "sent items" Empty your e-mail bin.
Create a password protected screen saver.
(Directions: for windows users, right click on your desktop, select properties, & select Screen-Saver. Then choose your screen-saver password).
Empty your Recycle Bin regularly.
(Directions: for windows users, right click on your Recycle Bin which is on your desktop, and select "Empty recycle bin" ).
